In celebration of your kitchen triumphs, we’ve proudly partnered with six inspiring Singaporean home-cooks and bakers to ignite your cooking adventures further. Using IUIGA’s wares, we’ve invited them to share some of their everyday recipes that look good but taste even better, and we can’t wait for you to try your hand at recreating them.
Bakeware
When it comes to muffin pans, go for one that’s made with a thick, durable metal as it distributes heat evenly and does not warp with time. The ideal pan also needs to have wide handles, so you won’t stick your thumbs into the muffins when you take them out from the oven. Of course, having a non-stick surface is a great bonus when it comes to selecting your bakeware, as it allows for the easy release of the baked goods without the need for paper liners.
You’ll be glad to know that our Non-Stick Muffin Pan ticks all these boxes, and is literally fit for a queen – the @croissantqueen, to be exact. Lydia Goh, the creative force behind @croissantqueen, makes baked goods that are to die for. As the name of this recipe suggests, these Super Moist Blueberry Muffins has a lovely mouthfeel. While these taste best fresh out of the oven, they also make a wholesome mid-day snack as they stay light and fluffy.
These scrumptious muffins are made using our non-stick muffin pan, because nothing is more of a baker’s nightmare than having our baked goods stuck on appliances. To truly add a touch of class to these humble but absolutely yummy blueberry muffins, serve them with our Resin-Handle Luxe Cutlery Set. The cutlery set is made by the same expert manufacturers that produce for Zwilling, and will set you up for a next-level snack experience.

Cookware
Wok
What’s an Asian household without the iconic wok for our stir-fry? When it comes to cookwares, a wok is considered a must-have due to its versatility and convenience in cooking and washing up. It’s ideal for preparing quick meals without any compromise on taste, as this cooking method produces wonderful flavours from all that tossing at high heat.
When it comes to investing in woks though, do you know what to look out for? We recommend to go for those with long handles, because it’ll allow you to shift and tilt it effortlessly during cooking. As for the wok material, our mothers know best – you’ll want something that is durable, dent- and rust-resistant. In addition, lidded woks are great because if you are cooking up a Chinese feast in the kitchen for your loved ones, having a lid can come in handy for quick simmers.

When it comes to food, few know better than food writer-critic and home-chef, Sihan Lee of @fundamentally_flawed. In collaboration for this campaign, Sihan shared with us her indulgent Braised Pork recipe which she prepared with our Non-Stick Wok with Ergo Handles.
This lidded wok is perfect for cooking this dish as it gives you the changeable option of stir-frying at high temperature, and a lid for simmering (as required by the recipe). The result? A flavourful, hearty dish from stove to table in just less than an hour’s time. After all, less time spent in the kitchen means more moments shared with your loved ones at the dining table.
Our wok is made from high-grade 304 stainless steel (prized for its durability and resistance to dent and rust), by the same expert manufacturers that make pots for WMF, so rest assured on its quality and craftsmanship.
Cast Iron Pan
Cast iron is making a comeback. If you don’t already own a cast iron pan in your kitchen, you are definitely missing out on its benefits. There is a myriad of practical and culinary reasons why cast iron wares can upgrade your cooking, but the most common reason is that cast iron pots improve with time and use.
Over time, cooking with a cast iron pan will help it develop a patina, which releases food easily. This is especially great for cooking dishes that might stick onto the pan because nobody enjoys scrubbing down a dirty ware after cooking. On top of that, a well-seasoned cast iron pan is naturally non-stick, which means it also retains flavors much better. Cast iron pans are also versatile for different cooking methods, as they can be safely transferred from stove to oven.
Lastly, cast iron pans are perfect for high-heat applications such as searing and making claypot rice – which makes us really excited to share with you the recipe below, created in collaboration with the all-mysterious Dr. C of Dubeers Kitchen.

This warm, fragrant Cantonese rice recipe hits all the right spots – just a waft of its aroma immediately transports us back to childhood times, when we would enjoy this soulful dish with our grandparents at Chinatown. Now, with Dr. C’s simple recipe and our handy Cast Iron French Casserole Pan in possession, we can recreate this heartwarming dish in the comfort of our own kitchens. And when functionality meets aesthetic, we can do the cooking and serve the dish in just one pan – what’s not to love?
Serveware
A true dining experience is incomplete without quality serveware. They can’t just be practical; they also have to be pleasing to the eyes. While good flavours and textures matter in cooking, these days we consume the dishes visually first (because every dining opportunity can be elevated into an #instagrammoment), so presentation has to be great – not just for serving guests, but for your personal enjoyment as well.
To complement his charming Claypot Rice dish, Dr. C styled it with our Scandi Soup Spoon and Jujube Japanese Bowl as a nod to the dish’s Asian origins.

In a similar way, Caecilia – of @singaporeliciouz, made good use of our Beech Wood Serving Tray when she shared her fabulous Nasi Arem Arem recipe.
